Optimal Feature Selection from VMware ESXi 5.1 Feature Set

Optimal Feature Selection from VMware ESXi 5.1 Feature Set  Amartya Hatua Bangalore, India  Abstract   A study of VMware ESXi 5.1 server has been carried out to find the optimal set of parameters which suggest usage of different resources of the server. Feature selection algorithms have been used to extract the optimum set of parameters of the data obtained from VMware ESXi 5.1 server using esxtop command. Multiple virtual machines (VMs) are running in the mentioned server. K-means algorithm is used for clustering the VMs. The goodness of each cluster is determined by Davies Bouldin index and Dunn index respectively. The best cluster is further identified by the determined indices. The features of the best cluster are considered into a set of optimal parameters.  Index Terms  Clustering, Feature selection, K-means clustering algorithm, VMware ESXi 5.1  Original Source URL :   http://airccse.org/journal/ijccms/papers/3314i...

Synchronization and Inverse Synchronization of Some Different Dimensional Discrete-time Chaotic Dynamical Systems via Scaling Matrices

Synchronization and Inverse Synchronization of Some Different Dimensional Discrete-time Chaotic Dynamical Systems via Scaling Matrices   Adel Ouannas  LAMIS Laboratory, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Tebessa, 12002, Algeria.  Abstract  In this paper, new types of synchronization and inverse synchro-nization are proposed for some di¤erent dimensional chaotic dynamical systems in discrete-time using scaling matrices. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and nonlinear controllers, new synchronization results are derived. Numerical simulations are used to verify the e¤ectiveness of the proposed schemes.  Keyword  Synchronization, inverse synchronization, chaotic dynamical sys-tems, discrete-time, Lyapunov stability  Original Source URL :   http://airccse.org/journal/ijccms/papers/3414ijccms01.pdf http://airccse.org/journal/ijccms/current2014.html

A REVIEW ON PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS IN DATA MINING

A REVIEW ON PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS IN DATA MINING  Kavya.V1 , Arumugam.S2  1M.E.Scholar, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Nandha Engineering College, Erode-638052, Tamil Nadu, India 2 Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Nandha Engineering College, Erode-638052, Tamil Nadu, India  ABSTRACT  The data mining its main process is to collect, extract and store the valuable information and now-a-days it’s done by many enterprises actively. In advanced analytics, Predictive analytics is the one of the branch which is mainly used to make predictions about future events which are unknown. Predictive analytics which uses various techniques from machine learning, statistics, data mining, modeling, and artificial intelligence for analyzing the current data and to make predictions about future. The two main objectives of predictive analytics are Regression and Classification. It is composed of various analytical and statist...

DYNAMICS, ADAPTIVE CONTROL AND EXTENDED SYNCHRONIZATION OF HYPERCHAOTIC SYSTEM AND ITS APPLICATION TO SECURE COMMUNICATION

DYNAMICS, ADAPTIVE CONTROL AND EXTENDED SYNCHRONIZATION OF HYPERCHAOTIC SYSTEM AND ITS APPLICATION TO SECURE COMMUNICATION  Onma O. S1 and Akinlami J.O2  1Nonlinear Dynamics Research Group, Department of Physics, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria 2 Department of Physics, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria  ABSTRACT  This work studies the dynamics, control and synchronization of hyperchaotic Lorenz-stenflo system and its application to secure communication. The proposed designed nonlinear feedback controller control and globally synchronizes two identical Lorenz-stenflo hyperchaotic systems evolving from different initial conditions with unknown parameters. Adaptive synchronization results were further applied to secure communication. The numerical simulation results were presented to verify the effectiveness of the designed nonlinear controller and its success in secure communication application.  KEYWO...
