COMPUTATIONAL COMPLEXITY COMPARISON OF MULTI-SENSOR SINGLE TARGET DATA FUSION METHODS BY MATLAB

COMPUTATIONAL COMPLEXITY COMPARISON OF MULTI-SENSOR SINGLE TARGET DATA FUSION METHODS BY MATLAB Sayed Amir Hoseini1and Mohammad Reza Ashraf 2 1Department of Electrical Engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran 2 Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran ABSTRACT T arget tracking using observations from multiple sensors can achieve better estimation performance than a single sensor. The most famous estimation tool in target tracking is Kalman filter. There are several mathematical approaches to combine the observations of multiple sensors by use of Kalman filter.Animportant issue in applying a proper approach is computational complexity. In this paper, four data fusion algorithms based on Kalman filter are considered including three centralized and one decentralized method. Using MATLAB, computational loads of these methods are compared while number of sensors increases. The results show that inverse covariance method...

PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF TWO CONTROLLERS ON A NONLINEAR SYSTEM

International Journal of Chaos, Control, Modelling and Simulation (IJCCMS) http://airccse.org/journal/ijccms/index.html ISSN : 2319 - 5398 [Online] ; 2319 - 8990 [Print] Article Title: PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF TWO CONTROLLERS ON A NONLINEAR SYSTEM Abstract Various systems and instrumentation use auto tuning techniques in their operations. For example, audio processors, designed to control pitch in vocal and instrumental operations. The main aim of auto tuning is to conceal off-key errors, and allowing artists to perform genuinely despite slight deviation off-key. In this paper two Auto tuning control strategies are proposed. These are Proportional, Integral and Derivative (PID) control and Model Predictive Control (MPC). The PID and MPC controller's algorithms amalgamate the auto tuning method. These control strategies ascertains stability, effective and efficient performance on a nonlinear system. The paper test and compare the efficacy of each control strategy....

OPTIMIZATION OF ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK MODEL FOR IMPROVEMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE OF MANUALLY DRIVEN BRICK MAKING MACHINE POWERED BY HPFM

OPTIMIZATION OF ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK MODEL FOR IMPROVEMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE OF MANUALLY DRIVEN BRICK MAKING MACHINE POWERED BY HPFM P. A. Chandak1 and J. P. Modak2 1Department of Mechanical Engineering, DMIETR, Wardha (MH), India 2 Professor Emeritus, Dean (R&D), PCE, Nagpur(MH), India ABSTRACT  Considerable development has been done by some authors of this paper towards development of manufacturing process units energized by Human Powered Flywheel Motor (HPFM) as an energy source. This machine system comprises three sub systems namely (i) HPFM (ii) Torsionally Flexible Clutch (TFC) (iii) A Process Unit. Process unit so far tried are mostly rural based such as brick making machine (both rectangular and keyed cross sectioned), Low head water lifting, Wood turning, Wood strips cutting, etc HPFM comprises pedalling system similar to bicycle, a speed rising gear pair and a flywheel big enough such that a young lad of 21-25 years, 165cm height, slim struct...
